Youth Red Cross Society (YRC)

YRC society of Pope’s college has been rendering its service to the students and to the society. The unit has a total membership of more than 200 students and one teacher in-charge.

Objectives of Pope’s YRC

• Encouragement and protection of good health and life.
• Noble services to the sick and suffering.
• Promotion of national and international friendship.
• Assistance to the disaster victims.

• Awareness creation among public and student community on blood and eye donation
• AIDS awareness class conducted
• Tree planting done regularly
• Anti-smoking and Anti-drug Campaigns staged
• Training Program on First-aid given
• Production of documentaries on health hazards
• Serving the visually challenged students
